We bit the bullet, doubled down, and went for fitted clubs for our child golfer. You may have read that he was hitting off the shelf TaylorMade Burner Plus irons and Burner Rescue hybrids. He could surely make some fantastic golf shots and often was at the top of the leader board. However, our ten-year old golfer was struggling with consistency. Continue reading
We found shopping for golf clubs to be quite confusing at times. There is so much “information” out there but what felt like no answers. Some folks would be emphatic that using cut down clubs is a bad answer. Others would say to use as long a club as possible. We heard Continue reading

More than that is absolutely possible, and I believe you’ll set up a good chance for more here, but that will be icing on the cake far into the future!
You will find some good instruction on these pages, but it will be very practical for this age and from the perspective of a parent.
So, this blog is a forum to help you learn what to do as the parent of a child golfer. Most parents really don’t know what to do, especially when it comes to tournaments and such. Continue reading
